Pittsburgh, PA IT apprenticeship underrepresented groups

In Progress

The City of Pittsburgh's Technology Council partnered with the non-profit FortyX80 to launch "Apprenti PGH" a new apprenticeship program focused on information technology. Apprenti PGH covers all of the costs involved and immediately matches participants with an employer partner. The program was designed to eliminate the barriers commonly face by individuals from underrepresented groups seeking employment in the IT industry including minorities, women, veterans, and disabled workers.
