Portland, OR is launching a local holiday shopping campaign
The city of Portland is launching the "Small Shops Big Hearts" campaign to encourage local shopping. During the campaign, the city is partnering with the local payment mobile app Kuto to offer shoppers prizes and incentives for purchasing holiday gifts from 90 local shops. Shoppers will receive points for visiting participating shops, more points for purchasing something, and bonus points for paying with the Kuto app. The points function as raffle entries for prizes supplied by local retailers.
