SNCF improved public transport experience for young adults in Occitanie launching '+=0' initiative

French national railway ticketing innovation experiment

In Progress

The French national railway SNCF is committed to using innovation to meet evolving customer expectations. To improve the experience of young adults, SNCF and the Occitanie Region, together with FAIRTIQ, launched a new fare product for young adults. Riders between the ages of 18 and 26 earn the opportunity to travel for free. The first 5 returns are 50% off, the next 5 are free. And from the 11th return trip, users actually get credits they can use the following month.
