The Municipality of Utrecht is partnering with Cargoroo to conduct a two-year trial of 100 electric shared cargo bikes. The Cargoroo company will deploy these e-shared cargo bikes in participating neighborhoods as a healthy and sustainable alternative to short car journeys for residents. The number of e-shared cargo bikes deployed in each neighborhood will be based on feedback from social media and digital newsletters.
