Vaughan, ON bridges gaps in daily commutes with GO Mobility On-Request Pilot Project
Vaughan, ON GO Mobility On-Request Pilot Project
This one-year pilot offers rides between stops in the pilot zone and the Maple and Rutherford GO stations. Commuters request trips aboard York Region Transit (YRT) shuttles using the Mobility On-Request app. The service operates on weekday mornings and evenings with no fare charged for transit card users. City officials, GO Transit, and YRT are evaluating the impacts of an on-demand connector service on public transit usage.
