The City of Fort Worth's Redistricting Task Force is using online mapping tools to gather public feedback on redistricting efforts. The city is adding two new city council districts and is allowing residents to submit redistricting proposals online in order to increase transparency and reduce concerns of gerrymandering. The city is offering training sessions to reach across the digital divide and residents can easily copy maps shared by other users and make their own modifications.
