Eastampton, NJ digitized its CCO system with GovPilot
Eastampton Township partnered with GovPilot to digitize its Certificate of Continued Occupancy (CCO) application and inspection system. The cloud-based digital platform provides many advantages over the manual paper-based process. Residents and real estate agents can request records, submit applications, and receive automated status emails for CCO permits directly via the town's website. Eastampton employees can search records instantly and conduct property inspections via the GovPilot app.

Eastampton Township Clerk's Department reduced time spent on phone and email communications with residents from half of their day to just a few minutes per day using digital forms. Eastampton inspectors saved five hours per week on travel, paperwork, and staff communication by conducting inspections with the cloud-based app. Eastampton employees can access digital records in seconds compared to a half-hour of searching through paper records in the basement.
