San Diego, CA created a COVID-19 Community Response Fund

The San Diego County Supervisor and Co-Chair of the County COVID-19 Subcommittee partnered with The San Diego Foundation to create a COVID-19 Community Response Fund. This coalition of non-profit and business partners worked with the city to deploy resources to community-based organizations impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. So far, this outreach program has raised nearly six million dollars in grant funding for food security, housing assistance, and income replacement.
