Teller County & El Paso County, CO public registry for AEDs

Complete

The El Paso-Teller 9-1-1 Authority partnered with Plains to Peaks RETAC to develop a registry for automated external defibrillators (AEDs). The AED registry is designed to be an intervention, along with CPR, to save the lives of residents experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. Residents and businesses can register their AEDs via the Pulse Point mobile app. The system allows dispatchers to directly tell 911 callers where the closest AED is located in the event of a cardiac arrest.
