Timmins, ON improves wheelchair safety on transit fleet

In Progress

The City of Timmins is equipping its transit fleet with Q'Straint's QUANTUM automatic rear-facing securement system. The automatic QUANTUM system is a significantly more efficient method for securing wheelchair passengers compared to the current manual method. Each time the City retires a Timmins Transit bus it will be replaced with one equipped with the QUANTUM system. The new buses are designed to improve the local transportation safety and accessibility for wheelchair passengers.
