Washington, DC free 30-day Capital Bikeshare memberships
The District of Columbia is offering residents a free 30-day Capital Bikeshare membership. This alternate transit option is being provided to all D.C. residents to compensate for the inconvenience of Metrorail service cutbacks. In order to participate, users can go to the Capital Bikeshare or Lyft mobile apps and select a 30-day membership for free on the "Ride Plans" section. The membership plans allows users to take free 45-minute rides with additional minutes costing 5 cents per minute.
