Mackay Regional Council expanded its dedicated project engagement hub "Connecting Mackay" with the EngagementHQ platform. The expansion is the most recent development in a decade long partnership between the Council and Bang the Table focused on digital engagement. In the last ten years, "Connecting Mackay" has experience impressive site traffic with over 388,000 visits. The Council continues to drive site traffic by increasing non-traditional content and offering updates on all major projects.

Project Succeeded

The expansion was well-received by the community as evidenced by site traffic increasing by 65% on average over the past 12 months. The "Connecting Mackay" project page for the Mackay Waterfront Development has had more than 6,000 visits and ranks higher in Google than the main Council site which gets an average of 120,000 visits a month.
