The City of Austin is partnering with the Autonomy Institute, EDJX, and Atrius Industries to launch a public infrastructure network node (Pinn) pilot at the Texas Military Department. The Pinn pilot incorporates 5G wireless, edge computing, radar, lidar, enhanced GPS, and intelligent transportation systems into a single unified system. The Pinn pilot was designed to enable optimized traffic management, autonomous cars, industrial robotics, emergency drones, and various transportation solutions.
