Eagan, MN Body Worn Cameras for its entire police force

In Progress

By December of 2020, the City of Eagan is hopeful to have completely implemented Portable Audio Video Recorders (PAVR), also known as Body Worn Cameras, into their police force. In June 2019, the city, in conjunction with the police department, went forward with beginning the process in an effort to be more transparent with the public. The goal is that the addition of body camera services will build more trust in the community between law enforcement and residents.
