Sea Girt partnered with GovPilot to automate its zoning permit application and issuance process by implementing their Zoning Permit module. The digital system replaced the paper-based process of manually entering zoning permit applications into an Excel sheet and answering residents questions over the phone. Residents can now complete any zoning permit applications online through an automated workflow which provides regular status updates to employees and applicants.

Since deploying GovPilot's Zoning Permit module, Sea Girt employees spend 75% less time on the phone and 66% less time communicating with requestors and other departments. Entering zoning permit applications into the system only takes one minute compared to five minutes using the previous system.
