Aalst, VOV electric shared scooter program
In Progress
The city of Aalst partnered with the Amsterdam-based micromobility company Dott to launch an electric shared scooter pilot program. The city deployed 300 Dott e-scooters at transfer points throughout the city such as train stations, bus stops, and car parks. The program provides residents with sustainable and affordable last-kilometer transportation. Residents can access the scooters by scanning a QR code with the Dott mobile app and purchasing a monthly subscription or paying a per ride fee.
