The city of Aalst partnered with the Amsterdam-based micromobility company Dott to launch an electric shared bicycle pilot program. The city published a map of drop zones, where parking is allowed, viewable through the Dott mobile app. Residents can access the e-bikes by scanning a QR code with the Dott mobile app and purchasing a monthly subscription for 1 euro or paying a per minute ride fee of 0.17 euros.
